In addition to three world-class performances, the ‘Sino Group Arts Celebration Series’ has brought three 'Festival PLUS' programmes of the 45th Hong Kong Arts Festival, including the jazz drumming masterclass conducted by Grammy award-winning drummer Terri Lyne Carrington, the pre-concert talk hosted by Issac Thompson, Director of Artistic Administration of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and the Meet-the-Artist session after Ray Chen Violin Recital. On 11 March, Sino Group invited 30 secondary school students to Ray Chen Violin Recital and the Meet-the-Artist session in an effort to deepen their appreciation of music.
 
The Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation (NTFCF) has supported the Hong Kong Arts Festival for the fourth consecutive year. This year, NTFCF sponsored Janáček’s Sinfonietta, The Eternal Gospel and Glagolitic Mass performed by National Theatre Brno on 28 February 2017, as well as a pre-concert talk hosted by the theatre’s dramaturg Patricie Částková, sharing the story of the Czech composer and how the theatre inspired his works.
 
Over 200 people has participated in the four ‘Festival PLUS’ programmes.
